LEAP - Fundraising for IMMIGRANT Founders

What is LEAP?

• LEAP is a 3-month program to help immigrant founders fundraising for their startups by equiping them with relevant expertise and knowledge.

• The program is in English and will start in the beginning of 2025.

• Applications will open in the Fall of 2024.

Why LEAP?

• Immigrant founders still face barriers when it comes to building and scaling their businesses.

• Only 1% of women-led startups and 0.7% of ethnic minority founders received VC funding in Europe in 2021 (Source: Founderland).

• Our purpose is to bridge the gap and showcase the true potential of immigrant founders whom are often overlooked and underappreciated. We want to help them scale and grow, and add values to the society and planet.

Who is the program for?

• Any startups that are registered as an AS in Norway and less than five years old.

• You are looking to raise your first angel or pre-seed round.

• The startup needs to have at least two members. One of them must be an immigrant founder.

• Your startup needs to have a focus on impact.

• You have already had a prototype or the first version of your product and/or have generated revenue.

• You have an ambition to scale in Norway and internationally.

• You must be able to commit 5-10 hours per week into the program and attend 100% of our workshops. Most of our workshops will happen between 10:00-16.00 CET.
